Our Story
Xela Swim was an emerging idea during covid. Our Founder was stuck in lockdown and was desperately craving a holiday. It took over a year of research, fabric sourcing, concept sketching and multiple rounds of sampling, all in Wiana’s living room before Xela Swim was born.
With a creative background, Wiana envisioned her pieces to not only look good, but allow the Xela woman to feel empowered whilst wearing Xela Swim.
All Xela Swim prints are designed in-house, making each collection exclusive to us. Our pieces are super limited as they are printed in small batches to avoid excess stock that contribute to fast impulsive fashion.
Sustainability plays a huge role in Xela Swim's vision. All our pieces are made from recycled post-consumer materials that once flooded the oceans. Read more about our sustainability initiatives here.
